Madison + Matthew’s Sweet October Wedding at Exchange on Vine
Some wedding days feel especially full-circle.
Madison and Matthew first met years ago, but it wasn’t until they reconnected five years later that their story really began. On October 3, surrounded by the people they love, that story brought them to Exchange on Vine in Riverside, Iowa.
Their wedding was sweet, wholesome, emotional, and filled with pink details throughout the day. More than anything, though, it was one of those weddings where you could simply tell how much the couple meant to each other.
As an Iowa wedding content creator, those are the days I especially love capturing—the big moments, of course, but also all of the little interactions happening between them.
An Outdoor Ceremony at Exchange on Vine
One of my favorite parts of Exchange on Vine is its outdoor ceremony setting.
The peninsula creates such a beautiful setting for a ceremony, with the outdoor surroundings becoming part of the backdrop. It made Madison and Matthew’s ceremony feel intimate while still giving the moment a sense of openness.
And their ceremony was emotional.
Getting to capture those reactions through video—the expressions, movement and little glances that happen so quickly—is exactly why I love wedding content creation. They’re moments a photo can preserve beautifully, but there’s something special about getting to actually watch them happen again.
A Wedding Day Filled With Sweet Moments
From the pink details to the people surrounding them, Madison and Matthew’s wedding felt genuinely warm.
Knowing that their relationship had come back together after five years made the day feel even more meaningful. There wasn’t a need for every moment to feel overly produced or posed—the emotion was already there.
That’s what I want the footage I capture to preserve.
Not just what the tables looked like or what everyone wore, but the way your people reacted, the way you looked at each other and all of those tiny moments that make a wedding feel like your wedding.
Wedding Content Creation at Exchange on Vine
I spent five hours capturing Madison and Matthew’s wedding day through candid, behind-the-scenes iPhone content.
Their final delivery included their wedding-day footage along with a signature highlight reel and an additional edited reel, giving them both the little moments from throughout the day and something they could immediately relive and share. I loved being able to capture special moments such as when their puppy was there to see them and take few pictures with them. Just being able to provide them with videos that they will look back on is so special.
